The resort has a fantastic location, just a short walk from downtown Kona where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. The atmosphere was mostly quiet, which I appreciated. However, it lacks direct beach access and the pool cleanliness left much to be desired, leading to a less than ideal experience. The condos felt more like apartments, and cleanliness was an issue that I couldn’t overlook.

I had an excellent experience at this resort, enjoying the beautiful weather in late March while relaxing around the property. The room was spacious and well-maintained, though the garden view turned out to be more of a carpark view. The staff went above and beyond to assist me when there was a mix-up with my luggage. While I highly recommend this place for a laid-back vacation, be prepared to rent a car to explore the Big Island.

I had a lovely week at the Royal Sea Cliff, where the staff were welcoming and the location was incredibly convenient for accessing local attractions and eateries. The spacious, comfortable two-bedroom condo offered a stunning ocean view, but we did encounter a minor issue with fruit flies in the kitchen. The pool area was decent but not heated, making it less enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, especially using RCI points for value.
